Certainly one of the most memorable aspects of any trip is the gradual unravelling of India's diverse landscapes as vast distances are covered while moving from one destination to the next. With a massive rise in domestic India air travel, tourists are now able to cheaply travel around the country in a relatively short space of time, but I think nothing beats the magic of a long train journey in India. One of the most beautiful train journeys in India has to be the route from Goa to Hampi, passing the Dudhsagar waterfalls in the Western Ghats mountains. Of course, if you want to grab the bull by its horns, you could do as we did, and decide on travelling India by Enfield motorcycle!
